This is an amazing video, and the first I've seen outside of the company. I work for Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant in NY. This is where all heavy duty engines for semis and heavy machinery are made. I'm the assistant manager for the Engine Testing team. I won't say much, as I'd like to keep my job, but the first two versions of this Engine were build at the end of 2022 and just entered the testing phase by our engineering team. It's been an amazing process to watch and be a part of and it keeps our future as a company bright and innovative!

As a diesel pickup mechanic, personally, I love the Cummins engine (the 6.7 and 5.9 are my bread and butter), and I'm glad they're attempting to keep the basic build of it the same. Or will it be simple enough and subtle enough to let us adapt? I guess only time will tell...

The biggest issue H2 vs EV is charge time. You do not want your drivers down for 1-6 hours while waiting for a battery to charge. That freight has to move. Hydrogen whether in a ICE or Electric fuel cell only takes 5 -10 to fill up.

Toyota has the leading tech and dominant force of FCV now. Elon Musk, who created an absolutely innovative EV car globally, will now bring FCV. The biggest issue is infrastructure. There are only a few hydrogen stations that make so many FCV drivers frustrated and upset, including myself. With that said, I've been thinking about EVs, despite the range anxiety of EVs. But Elon Musk would not sell FCV without infrastructure issues and a marketing strategy to make a profit. He is so wealthy he may build many Tesla Hydrogen stations everywhere? I would sign up with Tesla Model H for sure.

He told me he'd designed a device so he could run it on water and that he gave all the plans for that device to the Australian government , they never bothered to get back in touch with him , he said . Do you remember when you were a child?

Do you know what it was like to be three, four, five years old? Do you remember how wondrous the world was and how confident you felt in yourself? How amazing everything was, but you felt like superman, like superwoman?

You felt like you could do anything. You felt special. You felt like you were here for a reason, for a purpose. You felt strong. You felt powerful. You felt like you could do anything. The world was right there and you were going to discover it and do everything you ever wanted to do. That's how I felt when I was a child and I think most children do.

Most children feel incredibly confident in themselves and incredibly secure in themselves, until they go to school. Until they get taught they're not what they thought they were. They're not special. They're not good. They're not brilliant. They're not someone who knows what they are.

They need to be taught what they are. They need to be taught to think in a certain way. They need to pass the tests. They need to be subject to examination. They need to live up to the whims of their peers. They need to be everything they can be trained to be - but not to be themselves. That's what school does to people. That's what the education system does to people. Because that's what it is designed to do to people.

But if you can get back to that part of yourself that had that confidence, the confidence that you knew was there when you were born. The confidence you had when you're a child. If you can get back to that, it's really an amazing thing. I guess that's one of the things with me folks. I don't feel like I ever grew up. I guess I'm a bit like Peter Pan in that way. My body is getting more and more decrepid, but my mind is just the same as what it was when I was a kid. I know a lot more than what I did then - well I like to think that I know a lot more than what I did then.

I've got a lot more experience than what I did then, but I still have that same confidence in myself. I still have that same wondrous outlook for the world. I find everything amazing. I find every day to be amazing. I find every person I meet to be amazing. And one of the most important things about being a child, is that when you're a child, when you're three, or four, or five years old, what you do with your day is what you choose to do with your day - and I guess in one way, that's how I've never grown up, because everything I do, is what I choose to do with my day...

..but through all of it, of course the question is what to do about it? What to do about our situation? You know that's what people are always asking me when they listen to the radio shows and people write to me and say: "Well you're bringing us the problems, but what is the solution?"

Well again folks it, comes back to a loss of self. You know, knowing the power that you have gives you the ability to stand up to people who claim a right of ownership over you; or a right of authority over you. You're laughing at these people and questioning their actions makes a huge difference - especially when you do it in a public arena.

If you go to council meetings and you laugh at the council members and you ask them questions in the most brutally honest fashion, you can find you really do make a difference. You cause that penny to drop in people's minds. You just crack that shell with them, even if you don't have any success in getting any change happen at the meeting - even if you get thrown out of the meeting. Even if you embarrass yourself, it doesn't matter. You still wake other people up during the process and these are the things that count.

You know it's people's willingness to comply with a system that is essentially fiction. That is the whole problem. That's the only way we're going to get out of this mess - is to realize that we're dealing with a fiction...

I may get to see this technology come to fruition in my lifetime. I love engines and hate big oil I've always wanted to design my own engine to be more efficient than the big auto makers. It can be done and has been done before. They had cars getting 40mpg easily in the 80s, how come 40 years later, our vehicles aren't really any more efficient? Today's engines should be MUCH more efficient than they are. Subsequently my parents dumped extreme mental & physical abuse upon me, intermingled with a strange love. I was also exposed to a lot of sexual abuse from age 8-12, at least until I broke a woman's jaw (one of the perpetrators.)

Thank you for posting this wonderful song by Melba Montgomery. I must add one thing though. This was never a hit for Tammy Wynette. It was a number one hit for Melba in 1974. When Tammy released it as a single, many country D.J.s refused to play it in respect for Melba who had never had a hit single. They knew that if they played Tammy's version it would probably wipe Melbas off the charts just because Tammy was the superstar at the time and they wanted Melba to "have her day." Again, thank you for introducing Melba and "No Charge" to the world.
